About Erin

Erin Kirwin, ND

Erin Kirwin, ND received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she was honored with the Award for Clinical Excellence. Her clinical training included internships at two Bridgeport community clinics: CASA Hostos, a substance use treatment center incorporating the NADA protocol, and a free naturopathic clinic hosted by Park City Primary Care.

Before pursuing naturopathic medicine, Erin graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Her interest in the relationship between mind, body, behavior, and health began there, where she worked in healthcare research and volunteered with both the Health Psychology and Music Psychology programs.

Erin’s work draws on food as medicine, nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, lifestyle medicine, and the restorative role of the natural world. Her areas of focus include digestive health, allergies, fatigue, skin conditions, and autoimmune concerns. She has also pursued advanced study in Gemmotherapy and Biotherapeutic Drainage.

Over time, Erin’s longstanding connection to nature became an increasingly important part of her approach to health. She trained in Nature and Forest Therapy through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, bringing practices of guided nature connection, sensory awareness, reflection, and time outdoors into her broader work. This complements her naturopathic philosophy by considering not only food, physiology, and lifestyle, but also the relationships people have with themselves, their communities, and the environments they inhabit.

Today, Erin’s approach is grounded in careful listening and in understanding the whole person rather than a collection of isolated symptoms. Whether working through naturopathic consultation or nature-centered coaching, she seeks to help people recognize the patterns affecting their health and develop a more resilient, attentive, and connected relationship with their own wellbeing.

Erin maintains a license to practice naturopathic medicine in Connecticut. She lives in Granville, Ohio, where the woods, fields, and changing seasons have become an extension of both her personal life and her evolving approach to health.
