Erin Kirwin, ND
Dr. Kirwin received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and was the recipient of their annual Award for Clinical Excellence. She interned at two Bridgeport inner-city clinics: CASA Hostas, a community substance abuse treatment center using the NADA protocol, and a free naturopathic clinic hosted by Park City Primary Care. A magna cum laude graduate from Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, Erin supported herself through undergraduate school by managing a healthcare marketing research team and was a volunteer research assistant in both the Health Psychology and Music Psychology departments.
Dr. Kirwin specializes in skin conditions, fatigue, allergies, digestive disorders, and autoimmune diseases. In addition to her expertise in diet and nutritional care, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and hydrotherapy, she has advanced training in two European systems of medicine: Gemmotherapy, which utilizes plant stem cells for their potent healing compounds, and Biotherapeutic drainage, which facilitates detoxification on a cellular level and restores homeostasis, the body’s self-regulatory mechanism.
Dr Kirwin maintains a license to practice naturopathic medicine in the state of Connecticut. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the Ohio Chapter of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Erin loves art, her artist husband, and their son. She happily spends her spare time cooking, doing yoga, and running. Someday she hopes to learn the art of mountaineering and join an expedition.
